Neptune in Aries: March 30 - October 22, 2025, January 26, 2026 - May 21, 2038
Neptune stays in a sign for about 14 years and it takes about 165 years for it to get through all of the signs. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011-2012 and it’s just now beginning to enter a new sign. Neptune shifts perspectives, creates stories, and brings more empathy and understanding.
Neptune has been comfortable in Pisces. Since 2011-2012, Neptune in Pisces has opened people’s hearts and minds to new perspectives. At the same time, people have been deceived at higher rates. A shadow side of Neptune in the mutable water sign has been heightened illusion, and individuals have rose-colored glasses.
Topics like therapy and mental health have begun to be destigmatized, which can largely be attributed to Neptune in Pisces. Individuals are more likely now than ever to address their mental health struggles. People have become more understanding, empathetic, and compassionate to what others go through. Spirituality besides religion isn’t as taboo as it was before. For example, astrology has flourished with Neptune in Pisces.
Simultaneously, conspiracy theories have run rampant and shifted the perspectives of millions. Rose-colored glasses are heightened wherever Neptune is transiting; Pisces as a sign is already prone to being overly optimistic or has the tendency to ignore red flags. Neptune has flourished in this sign and is the most comfortable it will be in a long time.
Neptune entering Aries will be much different than Neptune in Pisces. Neptune hasn’t been in Aries for about 165 years, so no one has experienced this before. Pisces is the oldest zodiac sign while Aries is the youngest. Neptune has been in a mutable water sign and it will be entering a cardinal fire sign. Neptune will begin to take on Aries traits such as impulsiveness, independence, and action.
Neptune in Aries on a personal level will open people’s eyes and they will be more motivated to do something about it. You may have dreams or goals that have been looming with Neptune in Pisces; once it enters Aries, you’re more likely to go after those goals. Neptune in Aries will heighten people’s creativity and focus on the arts. Neptune is a dreamer, while Aries will go after what it wants. One challenge will be the long-term upkeep of your goals - Aries is great at starting things but can struggle keeping up with things long-term. The first few years of Neptune in Aries will be experienced differently with Saturn co-present in the sign. Saturn will bring more long-term thinking and focus to Aries/Neptune in Aries for about 3 years, but once it leaves, Neptune will be in Aries by itself.

When Neptune enters Aries, some will uncover truths that had been “hidden” from them before. Conspiracy theories will be debunked, but at the same time, strong believers in the conspiracies will double down on their beliefs. Information that has been hidden by peoples’ governments will be uncovered and people will become more informed and aware. I also believe that society will be more motivated to do something about the information that’s uncovered.
Looking back to what happened ~165 years ago when Neptune was last in Aries, the U.S. Civil War unfolded. The Reconstruction Era began and so did Jim Crow Laws. The 15th Amendment was passed allowing black men to vote. The panic of 1873 occurred and a worldwide financial depression unfolded following it. The Gilded Age began, which some mark as a time of financial success in the United States. Looking back, poverty, income inequality, and corruption were heightened during this time as well. Corporations flourished during the Gilded Age and their wealth grew on the backs of minorities - women, black men, and especially black women.
We have to remember that different astrology is occurring now; specifically, Pluto is in an entirely different sign than it was in the 1870s, so we can’t expect the same exact things to happen in society. Pluto was in Taurus and now it’s in Aquarius. Pluto in Aquarius in the past marks the French and American Revolutions. With Pluto in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries, I believe that people will do something about their corrupt governments or leaders. A new revolution is coming.
